Alcohol Consequences

Is another day while doing research about alcohol I find out there is to many consequences which if go deeper and deeper I find more facts for this research paper for English. What really impact me is the fact alcohol is the number one drug in the nation. Alcohol for many people thinks is just a joke which is not. Alcohol is the leading cause of death youth particular teenagers, and is the most common in vehicle crashes. If I go deeper and deeper there are too many things alcohol affects. Less start with why people drink. According to research on the web people drink for peer pressure family problems others just drink because they are curious. Drinking alcohol can be healthy but if we abused it we can end dead.  The first thing the alcohol does lost control of judgment, self-control of behavior. Long term drinking affect the cells and the liver which liver been the most affected for alcohol. The liver retains and cleans alcohol that’s why is recommended to drink one beer each hour in other for the liver to clean it out. Everybody suffers when is alcohol involve in a car accident the driver, the passengers as well family of the individuals. I would give more details on my next blog post.

Cause and Effect

On November, 10 during my English class we watch a short video about eating McDonalds for 30 days. What we did was a cause and effect paper to see what happens when you eat fast food and the consequences. After doing cause and effect we had an assignment to do, we ware ask to choose a topic about something and do a five page research paper about something we are interesting. The topic I choose is alcohol abused the reason I chose it is because alcohol produces violence which my topic in the blog is about. Alcohol does not mean just violence alcohol has a very impact in our society besides violence in home or public. Everyone suffers when there is alcohol abused in our homes kids, and family.  People don’t realize how bad alcohol destroys families and produces violence in home as well as hate to the person who is depending on alcohol. I began this research which I really find interesting but also is a big problem in this society alcohol which affects our pockets money can really be hurt when alcohol is involved. In every 12 adults 1 of them is an alcoholic the rest can be social drinkers or cannot drink all. I’m in the process where I need to do more research in other to explain everything about alcohol and keep you guys informed.

The Semester

The ending of the semester is seems to became harder than when I started my first day in class. To Many assignments to due for each class and adding quizzes, tests, or even writing assignments. College is not easy. What is next? Choosing classes for next semester knowing what to take for next semester can be hard for me. Every day it seems it gets harder with assignments in each class. One more moth left and I already have two writing assignments to due. One five page long minimum and you want to be a college student huh??  The second one minimum two page long and has to be presented in front of the class. Don’t panic life cannot be easy there are some challenges which we had to defeat. By defeating these challenges would make us powerful in the way of knowledge and one day would not be afraid of taking these challenges.  What I’m worry more is choosing the right classes for next semester  and choosing  time between  one and other.  The Semester is ending there is good and bad things we learn from  each class I always stay positive and have a clear mind with goals in life.

STORY OF BLIMA AND HUMAN KIND TODAY

The Story of Blima I’m reading this book for my English class. I decide to write about it because it was based on a true story. While I was reading the first pages of the book I compare today’s way of living. What I meant to said Blima talks about Adolf Hitler who was a leader in Germany. Well over the past years we had noticed the war has not end yet. Hitler wanted to destroy all Jewish, and people who consider inferior to him. Is just to much hate of knowing our own human kind to destroy other humans that’s just insane. Humans do anything to gain power where we don’t care if someone else’s suffers or dies. Today, and tomorrow would this end any day? How many violence can we produce just to gain power. People are getting kill across the world for one reason hate in our kind. Would we ever be able to control, and respect our self’s us humans. Do we want the same thing the Hitler did destroy human kind, and became a leader this is something to think about it what you think???  Living in today’s world has become a challenge were people want more, and don’t realize the good way of getting it.

Being a College Student

College, what is college? Is been a college student, same as been high school student? Today I decided to write my blog about been a student in college. I had been understanding what is been a student in college, it does not mean going to class sit in a chair a listen to the professor talk is beyond the point. I’m finding interesting college but also there is challenge. Having to deal with writing, assignments, research papers, and more work on a simple assignment. O During this year I discovered some classes which are in my interest which they teach me better ways to learn. English 050 has been a good influence and has shown me, and other students to dig dipper on a writing assignment or a reading assignment. What I mean going deeper, while reading talk to the text asking questions about the text that’s going dipper on a text lecture. I can expend hours writing, explaining the differences of college and high school but also new things I have learned from both. One of the big issues I have is when it comes to writing assignments college is more about writing almost in every class I been expected to write a assignment. What I found difficult on writing assignments, is my language barrier where I think in one language, and then I had to translate words into English. College is a challenge when we put our self’s in a spot and not managing time wisely. That’s college.

Writing Assignments

College is way different, than high school. College is a whole new meaning to me, in the way of writing assignments.  Monday November 1^st, 2010 while my professor asks me if she can use one of my blog posts, to show the class mistakes of writing assignments. While the whole class reviews my blog post, and make changes on my writing I noticed how many mistakes were made. Having the class review, and correct my mistakes does not make me feel embarrassed is the opposite, it helps me realized how important writing is. In my opinion writing is very important in college, writing assignments is a challenge which I’m not willing to give up. College is way different than High school teachers become stricter on writing assignments. Writing, punctuation, grammar, and capitalization play a big role on writing assignments where if you not correct or make improvements on writing the reader would not understand what are we trying to said in the wringing process. What I personal think about these assignments would benefit not only me, but also other students who really want to success in college.

The Ghetto life

The Ghetto life ok we are doing these documentary or story about how the kids express their feelings. There are two kids who one of the kid is jones and his best friend Newman explain who living in the south side of Chicago is affecting their lives not only them but also other kids. Jones is thirteen years old and Newman I fourteen these two kids had to live as adult and survive in their society where is violence ,and poor neighborhood . The south side of Chicago kids getting kill and no one seems to pay attention to what is happening to that neighborhood. Eric Morse a youth kid who was only five years old was kill just because he knew what was wrong and what was good. These youth kid was kill because he dint wan to still candy and he was throw out the window. I’m writing these because it relates to violence where not only adults committed crimes but also kids who are to youth to be in jail. Who kill the Eric Morse do you think he had experience violence at home or what made him do such think???
